tycker detta är jävligt coolt/imponerande faktiskt, jorden är till stor del en hemsk plats där olika folkgrupper sen tidernas begynnelse stretat för att utrota varandra, judarna håller ihop på ett helt annat sätt än övriga folkgrupper, det beror på att de blivit förföljda mer än andra grupper då de utmärkt sig för en talang för att manipulera det materiella och vinna ekonomiska fördelar.

Som tidigare personer varit inne på ska man ta Al Jazeera med en stor nypa salt. Man är ägda av islamister och har flertalet gånger gjort sig skyldiga till antisemitism. Dessutom används just denna händelse av antisemiter för propaganda mot judar och Israel, vilket ju en mer bör få en att tveka inför påståendenas sanningshalt. (Antisemiter är inte direkt kända för att tala sanning).

Men, med det sagt, så är det sällan internationellt avgörande händelser sker bara av misstag eller slump. Att en stormakt skulle anfalla en annan av misstag och utan motiv är otroligt. Vi vet dessutom att den typen av falsk flagg-operationer har skett, inte minst av USA. Men definitivt av samtliga stormakter genom åren. Det är varken något häpnadsväckande eller något ett land bör bära skuld över tiotals år senare.

Kan Israels attack 1967 varit planerad? Ja, det är inte alls otroligt. Spelar det någon roll? Nej.

Jag litar vanligtvis inte heller på Al Jazeera, men har ni sett dokumentären? Flera av överlevarna från USS Liberty intervjuas och berättar vad som hände den dagen. Genom dem får man veta att de hade en stor, amerikansk flagga hissad, att israeliska piloter cirkulerade över skeppet i flera timmar före attacken och att det realistiskt sett var omöjligt för Israel att ha förväxlat dem med fienden (inte minst med tanke på den utomordentliga övervakningsutrustning USA försett israelerna med).

Israel kände i egenskap av USA:s allierade till USS Libertys sändningsfrekvenser och blockerade/störde ut dem, för att förhindra att de kommunicerade till någon vad som skett. Man får därtill höra inspelningar i vilka israelerna bekräftar att det är ett amerikanskt skepp (inb4 "källkritik"). Attacken upphörde inte förrän besättningen lyckades kontakta ett annat amerikanskt skepp, något som Israel genast snappade upp.

Det faktum att både överlevarna och besättningens närstående hindrades från att tala med pressen efteråt talar volymer. Locket lades på fullständigt, vilket aldrig hade hänt ifall ett annat land än Israel gjort sig skyldigt till attacken.

Exakt. Många judar (jämfört med exempelvis svenskar) är beredda att gå över lik för att gynna/skydda ingruppen, oavsett på vems och vilken bekostnad, vilket oundvikligen går ut över utgrupper (medan svenska politiker snarare gör vad som helst för att gynna/skydda utgrupper, på ingruppens bekostnad).

Nog var det väl ändå ett enormt svek av Israel att på ett så lömskt och fegt vis attackera deras närmaste allierade, efter allt USA gjort för dem (uppoffringarna i WW2, flera miljarder dollar i bistånd varje år, gratis teknologi, m.m.)? Att bara rycka på axlarna åt detta förräderi och avfärda det som något "alla" länder gör är orimligt.
