Var definitivt ingen jude. Vissa spekulerar i att han var någon form av teist. I de citat när han nämner "Gud" så använder han ordet ofta som ett slags ord för naturen, alltet. På samma vis som exempelvis Stephen Hawking använt det, om jag inte minns fel?
Om någon orkar läsa, exempel:

Inte så konstigt egentligen. Ju mer man forskar och undersöker universum och hur allting är uppbyggt - både i rymden och på jorden - så blir en del ödmjukt inställda forskare mer bekväma inför tanken på existensen av en intelligent Skapare som står bakom allt.
